These workshops will cover all aspects of the 'business side' of being an artist. In the current climate it is becoming essential to be able to promote your work and understand how to manage a business, to have a sustainable career in the arts.
This workshop will share how to make your creative work more accessible. The workshop is presented by Emma Roberts from blueglassesgirl.
In this practical workshop Emma will:
Briefly outline types of disability in uk and various access needs of the disabled community
Explore some of the Barriers disabled people face when engaging with live arts
Mind map creative ways in which you can respond, interact, engage with disabled communities to encourage and increase participation
